The grand opening of the Vancouver Navigation Center was Wednesday, Nov. 14. The new center will open for business on November 17 and is located at 2018 Grand Blvd., Vancouver.
About the Navigation Center
The Vancouver Navigation Center will offer a variety of services to people who are homeless, including restrooms, showers, laundry, storage for personal belongings, mail, phone charging stations and clothing. Local agencies will offer mental health counseling, case management, job search assistance, transportation assistance and limited food service, all in an effort to help transition people from the streets and into housing. The center is operated by Share and will be open seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. It will replace the existing temporary day center located in the Friends of the Carpenter facility on W. 20th Street.
